Jukseong Jeongok, a new achievement for Freyssinet in Korea


Jukseong Jeongok is a cable-stayed bridge located in the Northern Region of South Korea near the border with North Korea. The 400-meter-long structure is made of a main span mixed deck (steel girders segments and precast slab elements), back stay cables anchored in side concrete bulkheads, 2 “A” shaped concrete pylons and 2 planes of stay cables with H2000 anchorages.
On this project the Freyssinet teams were in charge of the production and installation of the precast slabs on the main span deck and also of the supply and installation of H2000 stay cable system:

  • 660 tons of Freyssinet stay cable strand
  • 88 Freyssinet H2000 stay cable anchorages
  • 56 IHD dampers and 32 IRD dampers
The work ended in December 2013.
